Cold and flu season can continue into the spring months, creating uncomfortable symptoms. Herbs can help! We are excited to host two very Special Guest Speakers, Katja Swift, Director & Ryn Midura from the CommonWealth Center for Holistic Herbalism, in Boston, MA.

Digestive issues are one of the most common reasons for people to miss work - suffice it to say, if you're human, you've had some gut troubles. For some people these are passing inconveniences, for others they're chronic burdens. This class covers multiple herbs that can provide relief from both chronic and occasional discomforts!

Katja Swift and Ryn Midura are the directors of the CommonWealth Center for Holistic Herbalism, in Boston, MA. Together they teach a 9-month Community Herbalism program and a 3-year Clinical Herbalism professional program, as well as weekly drop-in classes, online courses, and more. They teach on topics that span from autoimmunity and chronic disease to post-disaster response and first aid. This is a hands on product making class using natural & herbal ingredients and at the end of class you’ll have made four different scrubs and matching soaps, perfect for you or holiday gift-giving. Scrubs will feature different salts and oils to exfoliate gently, leaving skin supple and smooth. The matching soaps will feature luxurious, moisturizing butters and combined with the scrubs, make thoughtful teacher gifts, just the right little something for that hard-to-buy-for in-law or the perfect little escape for YOU!
