Herbs for Trauma / Anxiety & Panic
We are excited to host two very Special Guest Speakers, Katja Swift, Director & Ryn Midura from the CommonWealth Center for Holistic Herbalism, in Boston, MA.
Katja and Ryn outline the use of herbal remedies for mediating panic, anxiety, and trauma in a first aid context, in both short-term and long-term applications. This class focuses both on providing care to others who need it, as well as maintaining good self-care as an aid worker, whether that's in a post-disaster situation or in a one-on-one support role.
Tim & Sheryl attending this workshop by Katja & Ryn at Herbstalk this past summer and gained a wealth of knowledge. We highly recommend this class to anyone who is personally dealing with trauma, anxiety and/or panic attacks or if you have a child who is suffering from these.
