YOGA IN SPIRIT
Tuesday night classes will be a yin yoga style, focusing on rejuvenating
poses intended to open, lengthen, stretch and expand. Western yoga styles
tend to focus on strength, speed, and endurance (yang yoga); although many
health benefits are obtained from this form, balancing the yin and yang
energies in the body is essential for optimal health. Yin yoga, if practiced in
the evening, allows for greater circulation, improved sleep cycles, stress
reduction and relaxation. Students are encouraged to bring their own
bolsters, blocks, blankets and/or straps to further their personal practice, but
they are not required.
You must bring your own yoga mat.

We invite you to sign up for both Tuesday and Saturday classes to help
further you on your yogic journey towards health and wellness. Classes are
$15/class, or $10/class if you sign up for both Tuesday and Saturday classes
in the same week. Space is limited so early sign-up is encouraged.
