Drawing from traditional Ashtanga and hatha style yoga, this unique offering allows students to use the power of yoga to further their personal evolution through the journey of self-actualization. Through yoga, we’ll explore deep spiritual and natural world concepts using imagery and awareness to cultivate an appreciation for the physical and spiritual world. Yoga for the Spirit focuses on and enhances the mind/body/spirit connection within and without. Every class is open to all levels of yoga, including beginners, with modifications available for greater challenge or to deepen your practice.
Each week we will explore a different theme for class.
April 15th Theme: Chakra Balancing Yoga
THEME: Chakra Balancing Yoga - In this sequence, we’ll carefully work from the Mulahdara (root) Chakra to the Sahasrara (crown) Chakra, opening, clearing, aligning and balancing each of our main energy centers. If you are experiencing emotional imbalances, symptoms of blocked or stuck energy, or are just simply feeling ungrounded this class is for you! You will leave feeling peaceful and centered and ready to take on any of life’s many challenges.
Starting April 15th we will hold this class every other Saturday morning.
Class: $15/ per person. Register or Drop in. Availability is limited, so you may want to call ahead if you are planning on dropping in. This will be an intimate class size of 5-6 people.
