In today's world, where we are constantly searching for ways to understand ourselves better, Human Design offers a unique and compelling system. But what exactly is Human Design, and what are its different types? Let's delve in!

What is Human Design?

Human Design is a synthesis of ancient and modern systems: the I Ching, astrology, Kabbalah, Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and quantum physics. It's often described as a "manual" for your life, providing insights into your true nature, strengths, and vulnerabilities. By using your birth data, a Human Design chart (or "BodyGraph") is created. This chart provides detailed information about your personality, strategy for making decisions, and how you interact with the world.

The Five Types in Human Design

  1. Manifestors

    • Description: Manifestors are initiators. They have the unique ability to start new things without needing to inform or wait for others.
    • Strategy: To inform before they act. By informing those who may be impacted by their decisions, they can avoid potential resistance.
  2. Generators (Including Manifesting Generators)

    • Description: Representing the majority of the population, Generators have a defined Sacral center, giving them enduring life force and work energy.
    • Strategy: To wait for things to come to them and then respond. Their power lies in their response.
    • Note: Manifesting Generators are a sub-type. They have attributes of both Manifestors and Generators and need to inform and then wait for their gut response.
  3. Projectors

    • Description: Projectors are guides and need to be invited into big life decisions and roles. They possess the gift of seeing and guiding others' energy.
    • Strategy: To wait for the invitation. When they are recognized and invited in, they thrive.
  4. Reflectors

    • Description: The rarest type, Reflectors are deeply connected to the lunar cycle and are like mirrors, reflecting the community's health.
    • Strategy: To wait a full lunar cycle (28 days) before making major decisions.
  5. Investigators

    • Description: Curious and detail-oriented, Investigators seek a deeper understanding of the world around them. They thrive on knowledge and are often researching or diving deep into topics of interest.
    • Strategy: To probe, question, and understand before making decisions or forming opinions.

Final Thoughts

Human Design offers a unique lens through which we can understand ourselves and others. By learning about our design type and strategy, we can navigate the world in a way that is aligned with our true nature. Whether you're a Manifestor blazing trails, a Generator waiting for that gut response, a Projector seeking your invitation, a Reflector tuning into the moon, or an Investigator diving deep into understanding, your Human Design is a roadmap to your authentic self. Embrace it, and watch as the world unfolds in synchronicity with your true nature.
